Privacy

The short version: everything you type stays on your own device. Optional Meta measurement is off unless you actively allow marketing cookies.

What is stored, and where

Your budget, supplier names, prices, notes, checklist ticks and contribution figures are saved in your browser’s local storage, under a single key on your own device. They are not transmitted, not backed up and not visible to anyone but you. Open the site on a different device or browser and you will start from scratch, because there is no account to sync from.

What is not collected

No account, no email address and no server receives your plan. The site can load one Meta advertising pixel for page and tool interaction measurement only after you choose “Allow marketing” in the privacy banner. If you choose “No thanks”, the pixel is not loaded and no Meta request is made. You can revisit that choice with “Privacy choices” in the footer. Consent is stored in local storage on this device so we do not ask on every page load.

What Meta receives

When marketing consent is granted, Meta receives the pixel events PageView, PlannerStarted, PlannerCompleted and ExportClicked. Events carry only the page path, tool name, calculator version, export format where relevant and the consent state. We never send your exact budget, contributions, guest counts, wedding date, supplier names, notes or other calculator values. This site has no server, so it does not use Meta Conversions API and does not expose an access token or secret in the browser.

Deleting your plan

The reset button in the planner deletes everything permanently — there is no undo and no copy anywhere else. Clearing your browser’s site data does the same. If you want to keep a record first, export a CSV, which is generated in your browser and saved straight to your device.

Hosting

The site is a set of static files. Like any web host, the server that delivers them may keep standard request logs, which can include IP addresses. Those logs are a function of hosting, not of the planner, and none of your plan is ever in them.

Not financial advice

This is a planning aid. The figures it produces are estimates, not quotes, offers or financial advice, and no payment is ever taken or processed. Confirm every figure with the supplier before you rely on it.
